Snow Day!

Snow Day!!

Today was one of those days you dream about. Clear blue skies and warm sun with a ton of snow on the ground!! We bundled Jadeyn up in as many layers as we could and played in the back yard. It was so bright outside with the sun reflecting off the snow that Jadeyn (and Kevin) hardly opened their eyes for the first few minutes! We made a snowman of course, pulled Jadeyn around in his sled, and yup threw a few snowballs. Jadeyn got to eat some snow, but he used a spoon just like a big boy.

Walk and Tumble

Jadeyn started walking this week. Well, making a really great and exuberant effort at it. At 11 month and 1 day, he put three steps together all on his own. And since then, he has been taking every opportunity he can to make it work. This morning was adorable. He'd take several steps between us trying to get his football. As Kevin said, "Its the power of the football!"

This video isn't his most successful attempt, but it sure is adorable!!

Visit from Gma and Gpa Johnson!

Grandma and Grandpa Johnson came to visit!!

We had a wonderful weekend with my parents. They came to see us of course, but most of all to see their precious little Grandson! Jadeyn took to them immediately and romped and laughed the whole time. He loved them! It is wonderful to have a loving family who is so excited for us and our new family. Thank you so much for coming mom and dad!!
