In the Sandbox

Kevin had a full day conference in Denver so Jadeyn and I decided to party!!!! Off to Home Depot to buy a few bags of sand to fill our little turtle sandbox (a sweet gift from a neighbor!) I lugged out the 50 lb bags and on my way home, I got word that Kevin was going to play hooky for that last few hours of the conference. Once he got home, we set up the sandbox and had a blast. Jadeyn played so seriously and with determination. No giggles or laughs, just some serious digging and kicking. It was hilarious! (P.S. you can double click on the photo to see all of it. Sorry Kev, I cut off part of your arm!)

A Month Of Birthdays!!

We enjoy birthdays so much at our house that we get to celebrate for a whole month straight! Starting with Jadeyn on April 18th, ending with Kevin on May 18th and me in the middle on May 10th! What fun! along with all the other fun stuff we crammed into the month, we did IHOP for me for breakfast, Chili's for Kev for lunch and the Zoo for Jadeyn. Mixed in there was a lot of icecream, some cakes, a ton of new rosebushes, a few new DVDs, a shotgun, a sandbox and a lot of good times!

Racing Around the Front Porch

Jadeyn still loves to be outside and he is trying really hard to run! This video is of him toddling around and getting as much of his energy out as he can. This is about 5 minutes before his bedtime, and as you can tell: he's not quite ready. He still "flaps his flippers" as he puts on his show!
