Rebecca’s Soft Gingersnaps
Mix together:
¾ cup shortening or butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup molasses
Sift together:
2 ¾ cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
Combine ingredients. Form dough into 1 inch balls, and roll in sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
