Another wonderful day of fishing! We got a late start so Jadeyn took his nap on our way to the lake. We thought for sure he would be still so exhausted that he would stay asleep on my shoulder for awhile: nope. He lifted his groggy little head, took one look at the water and started hollering: Fishy! Fishy! Fishy! I guess he is awake for good!
We just went to Flatiron Reservoir area near Loveland since we only had a few hours and it was great. Lots of bites, lots of fish (not too big though) and lots of mud and sticks for Jadeyn to throw in the lake. Normally he gets obsessed with the worms, this time it was the salmon eggs. He'd pick on up with the pliers and squish it, then throw it in the lake. We caught about 15 rainbows, kept 7. Kevin's office will love us!!When we arrived at home, we decided that Jadeyn was already muddy so we washed all the mud off the truck from last week's fishing trip. It was caked on, Jadeyn made a mess, soaked both of us with the hose and watered all the flowers! Oh dear! Beautiful day!
