SeaWorld Orlando

Kiddie Rides!
Jadeyn sure enjoyed the kiddie rides and play area and we sure had fun watching him. There was a nice long tube slide that he went on over and over again. He just kept climbing up to the top where one of us would help him in the slide, then the other was at the bottom to catch him. He did great and kept up with all the big kids around him!
The carousel was ocean creature themed. I chose a hammer head shark for Jadeyn on his first go-round. He loved it. Up and down, he held on to that pole so tight! On his second trip, we put him on a lion fish, nope, he wanted the shark again!
I got to go on a small Tidal Wave with him. It was a long 20 mionutes in line trying to contain him and his excitement, but when we got on and the boat started rising and then swinging, he hollered at the top of his lungs: Whoa! Whoa!
Next we convinced Kevin to go on a "spinny ride." It was like the teacups, but took you way up in the air to spin. Jadeyn felt so powerful when he would turn the wheel to make us spin!

Petting the Mana Rays...And Getting Soaked!

Jadeyn's favorite part of the park was the mana ray pool. I have to admit: it was one of my highlights too. Getting to touch the smooths slickery skin of the rays was pretty neat. We would lay our hands flat, low in the water and they would swim right over top of our hands and use their vacuum-like mouths to suction any food from our hands!
Jadeyn splashed and splashed and loved touching them too. He got a little scared a few times when they came straight at him. He got soaked!! Remember, it wasn't too warm in Florida, so we called it a day after splashing to get him into some dry clothes. But the next day we were back, let him have free reign of the place, and had a dry set of clothes (and shoes!) ready for him!!
